DESIGN PROPOSAL

Whether you arrive with detailed sketches or just a feeling about what you want, I’ll translate your vision into a concrete proposal. For clients with clear direction, I refine your ideas. For those starting from scratch, I guide the entire design process - asking the right questions to understand how you live and what will serve you best.

You’ll receive detailed drawings, wood samples, hardware options and finish examples. Proposal includes precise dimensions, materials specification and a comprehensive quote with a timeline.

DESIGN REFINEMENT

This is what CUSTOM is all about- a piece built specifically for you. Nothing is locked in until you are completely confident in the design. We collaborate to perfect every detail. Adjustments to proportions, materials or finish are welcome. Investment in this stage ensures you love the finished piece for decades.

DEPOSIT AND SCHEDULING

Once the design if finalized a 50% deposit secures your spot in my production schedule and allows me time to source premium materials. I accept a limited number of commissions annually to ensure each piece receives dedicated attention. Timeline is project-dependent.

FABRICATION

Your piece is built entirely by hand, by me, not a team. From selecting lumber to the final finish coat, I'm personally involved in every step. This isn't delegated to shop employees or production staff. You're working with a single craftsman who has spent 20 years refining these skills. I'll send progress photos and updates at key milestones. You're welcome to schedule a shop visit to see the work in progress and ask questions directly.

What happens during fabrication: Lumber selection and preparation, traditional joinery and assembly, hand finishing and detail work, personal quality control at every stage.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

White-glove service included: I personally deliver and install your piece, ensuring proper placement and protection. For built-ins and cabinetry, installation includes all necessary hardware and adjustments for perfect fit. My service area: Hudson Valley, Catskills Region, Westchester County, Connecticut, and greater NYC. Extended delivery available—contact for details.

FINAL PAYMENT & CARE

Balance due upon completion.. Once you're completely satisfied with the installation, final payment is collected. I provide detailed care instructions and remain available for any questions or future needs. Warranty: All joinery and structural elements are guaranteed. Furniture is built to last generations with proper care.
